Electronic Laboratory

The Cover of the Laboratory Manual (Yılmaz, Çavuş, and Başkuş, 2001)

In the electronic laboratory, students are instructed to conduct the following experiments, which cover current topics related to electrical and electronic subjects, in addition to the theoretical topics covered in their courses:

1-Ohm's Law Applications and Resistor Configurations:

Experiment Objective: To determine the theoretical values of resistors based on color codes, establish the relationship among the three variables in Ohm's Law, observe the relationship between current and voltage values in series and parallel circuits, and learn the operation of the circuit construction board.

2-Kirchhoff's Laws

Experiment Objective: To experimentally demonstrate Kirchhoff's laws in electrical circuits.

3-Thevenin's Equivalent Circuit Theorem

Experiment Objective: To learn Thevenin's Equivalent Circuit Theorem and simplify complex electronic circuits for analysis.

4-Semiconductor Devices and Diodes

Experiment Objective: To experimentally define the working (characteristic) curves of semiconductor diodes and conduct applications related to diodes.

5-Transistor Applications I-II

Experiment Objective: To recognize transistors and determine certain functional characteristics of transistors. To explore new application circuits related to transistors.

6-Logic Circuits and Gates

Experiment Objective: To gain knowledge about gates used in digital electronics, create applications for NOT (INVERTER), AND, and OR gates. To learn and verify De Morgan's laws.
